Description: in an effort to standardize expertise, Accenture confirmed certs from different agencies for the MBB staff it inherited from George Group and designed a three tier system to identify capabilities if the individual. Level 3 is an entry-level position. Level 2 is an experienced practitioner. A Level 1 Master Black Belt is a strategic deployment manager and thought leader.

Description: The Lean Master at Seagate is an answer to managing the transactional processes that its Six Sigma program did not effectively address. Training was given only to certified Black Belts and was considered an alternate path to a formal Master Black Belt.

Description: During Transactional Black Belt training at Seagate, a small section of Theory of Constraints was introduced. Expanding on this, I helped develop a series of TOC curriculum and trained Black Belt and Lean Master candidates. Seagate never fully adopted Theory of Constraints, but I expanded upon it for use in multiple clients as well as integrating it into my "Capability Management" curriculum.

Description: Following years of manufacturing emphasis with the Six Sigma program, the company revamped their Black Belt training to have two different paths: Operational and Transactional. The transactional training emphasized process mapping and business process re-engineering. I was working in IT services and took this training to better serve my department.
